Devig Calculator — free no-vig odds & fair line tool

Sportsbooks bake a margin (the vig, or juice) into both sides of a market. Removing it gives you the true probability the book actually believes in — the number you should compare every PrizePicks, Underdog or sportsbook line against. Enter both sides of a two-way market below to get no-vig odds instantly.

How to devig sportsbook odds

  1. Convert both American prices to implied probability.
  2. Add them — anything over 100% is the book's hold.
  3. Scale both sides back down so they sum to 100%. That is the fair, no-vig probability.
  4. Compare that fair number to the price you can actually bet to get your edge.

Multiplicative vs power devig

Multiplicative (proportional) devig splits the vig evenly across both sides and is the fastest, most common method. Power devig assumes favorites carry more of the juice than longshots, so it usually produces a lower true probability on heavy favorites and a slightly higher one on longshots. For player props near even money, the two rarely differ by more than a point.

Which book should you devig?

The sharpest available price is the best estimate of truth. Low-hold books like Pinnacle, Circa and Novig move on real money, so their no-vig number is far more predictive than a recreational book's. Devigging a soft book against itself just gives you a soft answer.
